Personally I think basketball is the best sport ever made, theres nothing like the intensity and the last second, half court, gaming winning shots.

Always been a Horns fan, but never had a reason to be diehard Longhorn mens fan for b ball, that is until Rick Barnes showed up at Texas.

   It was football, Lady Horns basketball with Jody Condradt and onto baseball with Gus and now Augie.

Big VIII + 4 is going to be pretty good this year.  My Jayhawks and the Horns are going to be strong.  K-suck should be improved, moo has picked up some good recruits as well as the Pokes and the Gooners.  Bring it on east coasters!   8-)  ROCK CHALK

Although I've always been too short and white to play basketball, college hoops has always been a close second to college football for me.  Go Xavier!

Lifetime Kentucky fan, former student and longtime employee here.  Don't like the Tarholes but I do respect them as being the 2nd best program around.    Can't believe we have multiple Puke fans here.

I always considered Kentucky the 2nd best program around, but I guess I can go with the tarholes.  ;D  With the messiah John Wall on board, I'm not sure there's a reason to play this season.  But with your coach's past, the next final four you get in will be vacated, anyway.

I hope to, but I would rather have a football game that day.  We have a couple of regions starting their state playoffs a week early, so I may have a game that day.  I would like to see if Webb is going to get any PT for the Mounties this year or not too.  ETSU will be hurting in the post after Coy died in a car wreck this summer.  Brown is their only true post player.  Guard play should still be strong, although they lose a  lot of point production with the graduation of Tiggs and Pigram.

Although I do love basketball,  like you guys I do not like the pros either.  In my opinion they are just a bunch of thugs running up and down the court.

Theres a good chance if they are thugs in the pros, they were thugs in college, just didn't have cash to throw around.

  A thug is a thug, rich or poor.

I remember reading the same things from Kentucky fans when Billy Gillispie was hired.  

Duke will make it to to the Final Four this year. As for UNC........  :-/
