Never heard of it either.  Are you sure you didn't dream about it?

I just googled it and Roger Ebert gave it a thumbs up so it has to be good.

Not to hijack your thread but any word on Boondock Saints II?  No spoilers though, a simple good or bad will do.

BDS II is good.  I drove two hours to see it and was not dissapointed.

Had not heard of Hurt Locker until yesterday but I will check it out sometime.

The Hurt Locker is about Army EOD (Explosive Ordinance Division) guys dealng with IEDs in Iraq (i think iraq).  It's supposed to be really really good and have a great soundtrack.

I've seen it, and it's definitely worth a look.  The DVD/Blu-Ray is due out in the next week or so.

The hurt locker is a quality movie. I think you may enjoy it.

The Hurt Locker is a very real and very emotional movie. Yes, it takes place in Iraq. The film really captures what a lot of us felt / went through during our tours. Some may find it slow and not really understand some parts of it, but IMO this is the best depiction of the everyday life of a Marine/Soldier in Iraq that I have seen on film. (of course with a little Hollywood added in, there's one thing that happens that just WOULD NOT happen)
