Men's basketball team just upset the #1 ranked Kansas Jayhawks without 4 key players who were out after a big headline traffic stop. A game they were underdogs for with those 4 and a "no chance" team without them.

This team reminds me of Pearl's first couple of teams.  Undermanned but playing with a ton of heart and grit.

Brent if you're talking when the last time Men's basketball it was before my lifetime if ever haha. It's just like burley said though. The kids had a lot of heart and never gave up. Pretty impressive for the #1 team to get beat by a team with only 6 scholarship players.

Sec is crap in BBall. Without Kentucky yall would be right behind the Atlantic 10.

NCAA allows each D1 school 13 scholarships.

And pitchinkid, SEC has three schools in the top 15. And Florida was a National Championship team just a few years ago.

Thats alot of players who are 4 and 5 star preps NOT playing on Bowl day!!!

This win goes to show what a TEAM can do. The guys pulled together and put the thugery behind them. I am glad coach Pearl dissmissed Tyler Smith, hopefully other heads will roll as well. I am tired of these thugs giving UT a bad rap. Coach Kiffin has handled the off field issuses well also. A new era has begun on the Hill
