At least Milwaukee won a playoff game last year; against the champs mind you. It's been a few playoff series since the chubbies have chalked up a W. ;D

I'm actually hoping the cubs mortgage what's left of the farm for Peavy, and the whole thing blows up. Why not throw another three year, bazillion dollar contract onto the heap with the rest.

Here would be best case scenario: One wins the division, one the wildcard, and they meet for the pennant. Trust me, after 100 years of frustration you'd think we'd be used to it but it still hurts. 2 years in a row of having your heart torn out isn't fun. If it's not the Cubs, I honestly hope it's the Brewers (not the Cards). But not if they play eachother. Season is only going to get more interesting. You and CJ must be smiling now but there is alot of ball left.

If the two met for the pennant, the IL and WI DOT would have to add several lanes to I-94.  Talk about sweet.  I love to watch the cubs go down in flames every year, I mean I truly enjoy watching them self-destruct.  If the Crew could be the team to do it to them this year, well, I could die a happy man.

Wow. Lot's of pent up anger. Maybe misdirected. Did you play for the Cubs and get cut? Remember- nothing good can come from hate and it only shortens you're life and gets you nowhere.

This isn't something I lose sleep over, rather it's hatred for a sports team.  It's very easy to differentiate between to two.

There are many reasons I don't like the cubs.  The close proximity and the behavior of some of their fans are right at the top of my list.

If I had a couple of people to ride with me, I would probably go down to Atlanta on Thursday for the game.

But I'm done traveling for at least another two weeks.  

The way the Braves have played the last week (like a possom) Im not sure I would want to go, but you would probably enjoy it as a Cubs fan.  Thankfully Chipper just busted up the no no in the 7th.

Alot of you Cubs haters seem to know an awful lot about your hated team. I couldn't even tell you the name of the Brewers G.M. let alone

their manager as I don't waste time following and hating them.

Also, what have the Virginia - oh wait, Virginia doesn't have any professional sports teams. maybe soccer.

Not to make excuses which Cubs fans have been known to do, but they have lost their best hitter, their #2 pitcher, their ace for a couple of reasons, and their starting right fielder for a few reasons and they are still in the thick of things, it must not be too bad.

What's up with the Cardinals?  We've lost three in a row to the Western division, last-place Rockies and the games haven't been close.  Our relievers have given up 23 earned runs in 24 innings pitched so far in this homestand.  Except for Pujols, we have no offense.  I hope this turns around.  It's only three losses in a row, but even in the week or two before that, there wasn't a lot of run support for our pitchers.  

Dice-K needs to be traded for a DH like Victor Martinez and Indians prospects and Bucholtz needs to come up. He gives the Sox a much better chance of winning than Dice-K does.

I really think Papi is actually 43 instead of 33.

Yeah, only Pujols, .333, Schumaker, .294, and Ryan, .286, are batting respectably.  I can't believe Ludwick, Ankiel, and Duncan all chose the same year to bat below .250.  These guys need to rattle some bats!

They are scared of him, he is a cross between Ditka and Napoleon.

The Cards need to trade 2 left handed hitters. Starting with DUNCAN. Ludwick will come out of it. His timing is just off a little and he will get it back. There is rumor of a DeRosa trade. You can bet there will be a trade. Tony needs to quit juggling the lineup!
