Fellow ***s, I have been suffering with a new badly herniated disc since May.  After exhausting all other options I find my self once again heading for the operating table.  This time it will be C7-T1, which will extend my neck fusion from c5-t1.  I've not been on much lately and this is a big part of the reasons why.  Anyway, please remember my family in your prayers, I'm grumpier than usual, plus they have to take care of all of my chores around the house.  Thanks

Man, that's terrible.  I hope the surgery turns out to be a big success and you're back on your feet soon.

Back surgery is not fun.

Good luck buddy.  Lots of calcium, vitamin D, and water will aid in your recovery.

Don't feel bad about the grumpiness, it comes with the territory.

I had a double posterior fusion last July.  In total they used two cages, four rods, and eight screws.  If you ever want to chat drop me a pm, and I'll give you my phone number.  Down-time can be an absolute hell.

You are in my prayers as well. Wife is still recovering and they want to keep her out of work another 3 weeks. Not quite as invasive as yours, but man does it take a toll on both of use. I wish you the best.

  Hang tough,

                  Prayers sent

Matt
