Whats the experience out there?  Generally happy?

We are looking around for our vacation this year and the wife wants to go somewhere different this year.  I have played around on vrbo but have never rented from an owner on there.

Sorry for not posting the .com part. I assume you guys haven't used them then if you dont know what VRBO is. 

We used them last year for a monthly rental in the keys. We would use them again. They did go to bat for us when we complained about being charged a cleaning fee without the cleaning & did received the cleaning fee rebate.

We've used them several times, with no problems.

Mostly in the LOZ and Table Rock areas.

I used VRBO to rent a cabin in Spencer TN at Fall Creek Falls state park.  I was very pleased.  The rate was dirt cheap and the cabin was brand new, on a private rd, private waterfall access, fully furnished with dishtv and even a Wii.  I would def. recommend using it.
