Bully Beatdown

Featured Replies

Anybody watch this on MTV?  About the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I was never a bully growing up and thankfully was never bullied, but man is it funny to watch the bullies get their arses handed to them!!

Its gotta be fake

Its gotta be fake

ive seen a few showings and the beatdown looks  100% real.

its real, but in the first season there was a russian bully.  well lets just say he made it a good fight, and by the show rules he won.  in a real fight though he would have loss but he still put up a great fight.

I see that the fights are real, but those people look like they might be actors. Ive only seen an episode or two, but I tend to think most of MTV's shows are completely staged (Next, Date My Mom, Parental Control, etc.).

Yeah MTVs bully beatdown has got to be one of the best non-obvious staged shows they have. It's more than likely staged but at least it's not as obvious as some of their other pathetic excuses for a show.

I stopped watching MTV when I was 16. However, I was bullied my freshman year of highschool by a group of seniors. I may watch one episode of this show.

Actors or not, did you see the episode when Andre Arloski was the fighter. I bet the actor/bully was about to crap himself.

I havent watched MTV in many years. I remember back when they played music videos all day, dems were the days.

thats the one that sticks out in my mind. the bully had the balls to talk trash before the fight as well. the clownstomping that followed was classic.

This is one MTV show that is not staged by actors. There is a real bully who needs to be taught a lesson and they do just that. The MMA fighters have rules such as no head kicks and elbows but, they can beat the snot out of the bully otherwise. Also it's not really a full blown MMA bout.

How do you know it's a real bully? All their other shows are clearly faked so I find it difficult to take any of them seriously.

No it's just some shmo wanting to get his *** handed to him by a pro fighter. And lose the money he could have won by putting up a solid fight.

No, it's a shmo who almost certainly gets paid no matter how the fight goes and gets his face on tv...

MTV is the cheapest cable programmers on cable. But since you are so well versed I take it you must be some sort of producer and wise to everything on cable t.v.

Nope, not a producer, just used a little common sense.

you seriously think that everything they present is as they show it? Come on. They set up all sorts of situations that they present as real. Those dating shows they air in the afternoon are presented as real but they obviously aren't. This is the same type of thing. They tell you that guy 1 is a victim and guy 2 is a bully and then explain the deal they give to the bully. You really think that's all there is to it? All their shows are scripted. Even that stuff that's supposed to be real like The Hills...They don't outright tell you but they are actors who do those things to get paid. Because they're random unknown people it's extremely cheap.

I think the show is ok. I believe the fights are real. Although the host of the show is annoying as hell, and I'd like to see him get his jaw broken.
