By far the freakiest, scariest movie I've seen in a long time.  Don't watch it alone.

I've heard it sucks. One girl told me it was overrated. Then there was more negative reviews than positive reviews from rest of my friends.

What makes it soo scary? is it like gross stuff or just stuff popping out at you?

Neither, it's just stuff that could really happen to you. Freaky movie, the people that didn't like it or weren't scared of it probably don't believe in that type of thing, or they are just trying to be hard aces. 8-)

haha

scary movies get to me for some reason , wont be watching this one with a girl lol i tend to jump like little girl

I didnt find it scary at all. I actually thought it was pretty stupid buts thts just my opinion.

This movie scared the freakin crap out of me, I lost sleep for a few days over this.  I normally don't scare too badly from movies and such, but this one got me.

I might have found it as a better movie had I not seen the couple on a late night show talking about the movie  :( totally ruined the ending (which is the only good part).

Horror movies don't scare me much anymore since I read Hannibal. I had the same nightmare over and over for about two weeks. For some reason, that book totally @#$#$% me up.  It's been about 10 yrs since I read the book and I can still remember the nightmares as if they happened yesterday. :'(

Micro, those ducks and geese I talk to are coming after you!!!!  ;D   ;D   ;D

I was kinda disappointed when I saw it, my wife on the other hand had her eyes covered the whole time...  The only part that gave me goose bumps was at the end.

I saw it in theaters, it was a good try.  Basic principal as Blair Witch but executed way better.  Didn't find it very scary, it felt a little more like watching a reenactment than actual footage.  I liked the comedic relief of Micah.  The worst part was that basically everything that happens was shown in the first trailer that had actual footage, other than the audiences reaction, it even had a clip of the end.  I mean, they had a whole 5 mins of "activity" in the movie, the rest is talk and sleep.

Yeah, but that's what is so scary about. It's actually realistic (in my mind) in the fact that it doesn't show something happening every 5-10 mins it's built on anticipation, which is scarier than something happening. The producer was a genius because he used that so well. You're right about the first trailer with actual footage it showed too much.

Those saying it was bad and not scary, were thinking way too much about it and weren't getting "into" it.

I guess a good movie is in the eyes of the beholder.

I thought it was overrated.  It took too long to develop...too much talking & walking around.  Out of the entire movie...I thought there was two scenes that was freaky.

I give it a C-.

Super slow starting out. Alot of quick hitters that make you jump once in a while. Worth seeing but not worth owning. IMHO

You're right about the first trailer with actual footage it showed too much.

You don't think this was based on true events and had footage from an actual event that happened do you???

As far as the film goes I am glad I watched it free online and didn't waste anything other than time at work on a slow winter day.  Had to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen.

You havent looked in a mirror much latley have you? LOL BURN!

Hahahah no no no. But I believe in stuff like that. When I watch a movie I get into it though, and don't sit there thinking the whole time about how unrealistic something is or how that could never happen, or wow these guys are just acting this could never happen. They build it up that's why it takes so long to develop. Anticipation was the key money maker in this movie and those who watch a movie and think the things I mentioned above then it's going to be a let down. For those that get into it and like to see a story develop will like it.

Like bass-brat said, it's in the eye of the beholder whether you like it or not. Just those that watch movies only for the action, jump at you scary scenes, nudity, and not for the story line, then chances are you won't like this movie.

When your this sexy you don't look at mirrors, mirrors look at you.   8-)

It was OK...gave me the chills a little bit.

The chick was a little freaky sometimes at night...staring at that guy for hours.

The Ring was scarier for me.
