Featured Replies

It has been confirmed, next fall I will have a BPS 10min's from my house and 2 min's from where I work.

Then again this could be a bad thing.

after a while you will get to where you would rather go fishing than go look at fishing stuff. the BPS in Olathe has a poor rod selection so other than to stock up on things ive lost i rarely go.

Hey there! I noticed your info says your mid illinois, as i am!

Where is this BPS going to be located?? This sounds like a great thing to me!!!  :)

It is going to be in downtown East Peoria right along the river and right ( almost literally ) on I74. I heard it is going to be a big one, restaurant, 14(?) lane bowling alley and more.

I'm curious if it will even have access via boat from the river? I haven't heard that but I wonder.

What city are you from?

2 words for you...

TACKLE WAREHOUSE

Ahh peoria. Im several hours from there.

Im in mattoon/charleston area.

We have an ofice there, 1.5hrs to Cha then whatever it takes to get to Mattoon from there. I would imagine STL is just about as close and it has a Cabela's & a BPS

I cant wait for this!  I see monthly trips in my future...   8-)

They shut down an old Walmart and built another 1 just down the road here. That would be a perfect place for 1 instead of driving 36 miles to the nearest one in Cincinnatti.

Congratulations... it will be really cool the first few times you go, but then you'll start noticing how their prices are actually higher than the local shops (makes the BPS brand gear seem like more of a "bargain"). I just went through this myself, and now Tackle Warehouse gets the vast majority of my $$$.
