No need for anyone to go off the deep end at this moment. Are they playing to their potential? Lord No. But, they could just as easily be 2-0 as poorly as they have played as they currently are 0-2. 1993 wasn't a bad season when they started 0-2.

There's a huge difference between the 2010 team and the 1993 team. The 93 team had multiple superstars and Hall of Famers. The 2010 team only has a couple superstars and they play on defense.

The 93 team wins in the coach category as well.

Oh, so Miles Austin isn't a star? So Romo isn't a good QB? So felix jones is a terrible running back? Okay.

Their loser's , thats all.

No. He has potential but at this point, no.

So Romo isn't a good QB?

Not really. Too inconsistent.

So felix jones is a terrible running back?

Who's Felix Jones??

Okay.

Okay

Felix Jones? You really went with Felix Jones?     ;D

Bottum line is they will never go anywhere with wade as head coach. Credit where credit is due, the defense is good and his  system works. But there is absolutely no accountability, discipline or vision as a team. The play calling is horrible. Personal decisions, with the exception of finding a few undrafted free agents have been horrible. For the last three years I've watched them beat themselves over and over. Its embarassing. The sad thing is they were in position to win both games so far and gave them away.

No, the sad thing is that the NFL continues to feature them on Sunday night and Monday night football, as well as Thanksgiving.  Why such a mediocre team gets so much prime time is beyond me.

also lets not forget, i believe emmitt smith was holding out when the cowboys started 0-2. they have no emmitt smith to return in week 3 to give them a lift this season.

Incorrect.

That'd be a fantasy.

Wade is just a figure-head , Jerry is the coach.

I think its because the Cowboys are by far a very popular team, and the NFL wants to keep majorities happy.

They're popular because 1/2 the world loves the Cowgirls and the other 1/2 loves to see them lose. People watch their games whether they like them or not.

Overrated underachievers is what they are. End of story.

IF they lose their next game, i'll partially agree with you.

Texans this week and I believe its the Colts next week. Jerry Jones will officially 'lose it' if they go 0-4.

Only kids like you like them , they haven't been "America's Team" in 30 years. Quit your front running.

Plenty of people who aren't kids like Dallas, go annoy me in a different thread.   ;) ;D

I'm sure if you went back when Dallas was having plenty of 5-11 seasons, Dallas wasn't getting the night games.  It goes without saying.

I do recall 13-3, 9-7, 11-5 seasons past 3 years, winning normally gets you into some of those night games.

Until your teams win a few games, I don't think you have a dog in the hunt. :)

It's all about J.J. in Dallas , great businessman , really bad owner.

  • Super User

Lots of owners would love to have one Super Bowl trophy, muchless 3  trophies like Jerry has.

Yep, Jerry Jones, like his team, isn't very popular, again,  winning does that.

:)

With all of Pittsburghs QB injuries, maybe you could bring back Neil O'Donnell for the Super Bowl.

Jones is a "really bad owner"?  He's won three Super Bowls!  That's just an ignorant statement. ;D

He won with Jimmie Johnson calling the shots. Get real Preach.

He only won two of those three championships with Johnson as the head coach.  You're too much. ;D  But, as others have said, it takes a good team to have people hate them as much as you hate the Cowboys!  Don't worry, you're not alone.  Plenty of folks hate the Yankees and the Lakers for the same reason. :)

That third championship was won with Johnson's system in place and believe it or not I don't hate  'The Boys" , just think their owner is their biggest problem by not putting the right people in the correct positions to win like they used to do.

Well the Raiders won 3 championships with Al Davis as an owner. They were pretty dominant under him up until the 90s and even for a couple of seasons at the beginning of this decade. I would be surprised to see a lot of people call him a good owner right now.

So once again, what have the Cowboys done in the last 15 years?
