Gotta love technology. The sad thing is with all this new stuff coming out people are gonna become worse drivers. That's like the mercedes that senses if your swirving out of your lane and brakes if you get to close to the vehicle in front of you. I see more problems coming from this than its worth. Don't text and drive stay off your phone and pay attention to the road. I deal with drivers all day long and its sickning. Like the text you have to write is so important it doesn't matter if you rearend the guy infront of you of drive into a telephone pole or worse hit a kid walking on the sidewalk. Sorry for the rant but I deal with terrible drivers all day

Starting tomorrow in MD it will be illegal to talk on a hand held cellphone while driving. The law was obviously passed for safety reasons. But a study came out that said the laws like this and the no texting laws have actually increased accidents because people will still do it but try to hide it more so less attention is paid to driving.

I believe it. Texting is illegal in RI I thinks it a 80 fine first offense then 100 and something 2nd. I use to see people driving with there phone up on the wheel so they could look to the side and see the road. Now they have there heads down at the floor looking at the phone. Its unreal.
