Spike it blade dip

Featured Replies

I used to buy spinnerbait blades from Picasso in a couple of different metallic colors. The last time I checked, Picasso stopped selling them. So I did a search and found this stuff:

From the pics, it looks close to the blades I was buying. I was just curious if anyone else has used it and how well it held up?

Anything from Barlow's is acceptable.

Give 'em a shot.

Thanks for the input Sam!

Thanks for the offer Allen! Maybe we could meet up sometime since we're rather close to each other. I'm just down the road from you in Williamsport.

From the look of it I would say it works. I brought a buddy of mine fishing with me about a week ago and pulled out some of the spike-it dip for soft plastics.... I looked at him like he was insane well..... I guess I was the dumb one because he ended up catching more then I did and all he did was change the tail color of the bait. So I can definatley say I learned something from that experience. :(

It works just fine. I have red and black and I use it for my hooks and spinnerbait blades. It isn't permanent but it last for a few trips.
