Now that I'm in college, I guess I'm starting to mature a little bit. I guess you could say I'm spoiled (aren't all Americans?). I've always recieved to much and given way too little as a kid, but I'm trying to turn that around.

In the past year or so I've begun to absolutely loathe materialism, so I'm begging my parents to give to a needy kid this year instead of me. I honestly don't NEED anything...

I'm going to try to slow down this year and appreciate Christmas. Everybody has made it too stressful. It's not about buying your kid the most expensive/hard to find gift. It's about spending time with your family (and, of course, the spiritual meaning that started it all).

But with that being said... I've asked for a new study bible and a good pair of hiking boots. ;D

I honestly don't care if I get anything for Christmas.  As long as the kids have a good time I'm happy.

I am wishing for no hard water in January.

But, I just found out I have to work on Thanksgiving and Christmas so there goes my break.

Tell you guys what.  For those of you who can't fish during the winter, send me all of your stuff.  I'll make sure it gets used on a regular basis.  Think of the plight of the poor winter fishing gear.  It needs to be used!  I mean, it could get lonely being left untouched for a while.

I'll tell you what SoFla, you can send all your gear up north to me, so your gear can be fished in a proper "Cold *** VA winter". Your rods are being spoiled with your nice warm weather and large bass, they would not be complete without this trip! You do want the best for your rods right?
