If you want to experience your own personal rift in the space/time continuum, the only thing you have to do is service your bait caster.  Place yourself in a hospital clean-room, take the reel apart, clean it, lube it and then begin the re-assembly process.  I guarantee you that at least one part will have disappeared into the rift, never to be seen again.

Why in the world would someone at your age even consider servicing their reels?  You're just asking for trouble with the poor eyesight and arthritic fingers.  Not to mention your memory is so bad that you won't be able to remember which screw goes where. ;D ;D ;D
