In May I'm going fishing at Kentucky Lake on the Tennesse side.  Does anyone know what good baits to use?

In Florida we use minnos.  Catch large 2-3 pounders that way.

I know Kentucky lake has mostly black crappie.  What are their taste in bait?

    Well May is probably not the best time to target Crappie here.  They may be a little scattered.  Minnows are just fine for Crappie but don't be suprised to catch everything but.  

    I don't know how much of a secret technique this is but I fish a tube jig under a bobber.  The bobber has to be the pear shaped bobber.  Just twitch it through the water.
