the show called fish tv.? the episode i am talking about is the one where they were fishing for peacocks in brazil. the 2 guys that were fishing were catching some nice ones, but then they weighed a big peacock and the guy starts screaming a 24 pounder. was it just me or was that fish no where near the 20 pound mark? the same guy also caught a fish that he said was easy 8 pounds, but he held it with one hand and it looked to be about 3-4 pounds. unless that guy is 6'7" and weighs 300 pounds, i just didn't see those fish being that big. anyone else see this episode?

So many "yuppies" with money to burn nowdays think they are the  "almighty" and "best" just because they fish one day and catch  a few fish and are the "Athuority" on what to use when ,how and why >same as meetin um on a lake .just like in spring people come out of the woodwork to cut grass not for pride in knowing HOW to cut grass but just for money and fake fame...I go to gander mountain a lot and imma tell ya what 90% of the shoppers there know it all case in point ...Im standin in line with a "baitcasting" rod guy says where do u fly fish he prob had about 800 bucks in flyfishing stuff then wnet on to tell me the best Flies to use and so on i just said yup ..did i mention  hate salesman that try and sell me reels or rods that are the best in the world .Then bamm i ask what is it made of ,how many bearings,, etc etc they either lie or have NO freakin clue  LMAO way off topic i know but FAKE fisherman can be on TV and in real life

I know the guy and you are right 6-5 and about right on the wieght.

And I didn't think the fish was that big but a very nice fish.

Seems that Roland martin does that alot.Seemed like every fish he and the other guy caught were all 4# or better.Be honest they didn't look much bigger than the ones i catch.he could barely lip his 5#'er in the boat.

Kinda annoys me.... :-/

Ron was my tournament partner for 5 years in the early 90's. We had a lot of suuccess. He and I both continue to get better 20 years later.

His T.V. personality is not that different from his having a beaverage and friends and thats better than fake.

It's T.V. and fishermen I don't really see any truth.
