I have never fished for these awesome fish but I always see great shows on tv about what an awesome catch they are. When I read this article I found it quite disturbing.

Yup no salmon this year for norcal. My brother has a boat in the SF bay, sucks. A lot of angry fisherman over here. Was terrible fishing last year, and I would rather fish for halibut, rockfish, bass etc, but its bad news for the party boats whose main season revolves around salmon. Now the other fish populations are going to feel the pressure!
