Featured Replies

Hey guys, first post in the Other Fish forums... Caught my first peacock bass during my lunch break a while ago! It's really small but it's a start! Coulda sworn I took more pictures but oh well...

Also, caught this guy the other day, my friend said it's a speck but I have no clue... The colors on this thing were awesome! Any help ID'ing it and how to maybe catch a bigger one?

I thought "Speck" was another name for a Crappie. It looks like a Crappie to me.

Nice Peacock Bass!

Same thing.  There are white speck and black speck.  People also call them Speckled Perch.

Down south here people call em specks or specked perch like Bassin Blvd said.  Crappie sounds a little crappy.   LOL
