Man oh man do I love to catch these yellow mouth devils.  I was just wondering how you folks like to fish for these tasty suckers.  Here are my favorite speckled trout lures.

1. MirrOlure MirrOdine (chartreuse belly and back).  Seems like the little guys can't leave this one alone.

2. MirrOlure She Pup (red and chrome).  Nothing beats a good topwater bite.  

3. Hybrid Flurry 3" (purple and chartreuse).  I jig with a 1/4-1/2 jig head.

4. Salt Water Assassin 4" Sea Shad (chicken on a chain). Same jig as above

5. Berkley Gulp 3" Shrimp (new penny).  Sometimes I jig these but I prefer put them under a popping cork.

Try Live Shrimp, Gman Shrimp, DOA Shrimp or some other shrimp.

Redfish are better though!!

The only use I have for speckled trout is they are good eatin and they're something to pull on my line. Redfish are the best!!!
