Soft plastic storage bags

Featured Replies

What are the best storage bags, mil wise, to use for storing soft plastics that won't allow bleed through? ANy and all suggestions are welcomed. THanks

If you want the best, get the bass pro worm binder replacement bags. If you want cheaper, then get brand name (Glad, Hefty, etc.) freezer bags. Don't get storage bags, they won't hold up. If you go the freeaer bag route, change the bags every 6 months or so.

I don't know the best, but I agree with the above that freezer bags are good. I've used them for years.

I found a Quantum "worm wallet" at Dicks or Walmart that has been pretty good for my soft plastics.  It has about 10-12 baggies made from PVC that fit in like a binder.  It was only 5 or 6 dollars

I have used the quantum bag as well.  It did not hold up very well for me, but the Storm bag that wal mart sells has held up very well.

I have used Wal Mart Great Value  Freezer bags for 2 years now without any problems.

The worm binders are your best bet. They keep your bait sealed and they are really nice for keeping your plastics organized.

I use the snack size ziplock bag.  I can fit 6 or 7 or each bait in each bag.  I have a small pouch on my hip belt that holds 5 or 6 of these bags, each with 5 or 6 baits.  When they get beat up, throw it away and use another one.  You can get like 500 for a couple of bucks

This is what i use i can fit over 20 bags and 2 plano boxes in my back pack for shore fishing.
