Beauties! Man I need to get hooked up in some snook!

Little guys but still pulling drag out :)

There should be some fresh water snook down in your area(don't eat them)

Between the bass bite being slow up here and the heat, humidity and bugs, I'm a retired bass fisherman until November.

I usually retire from bass fishing when Snook season opens because of the heat.  Now I go bassn at night when the tides are wrong for snook.

No, I woulnd't eat anything out of these canals but here in cape coral we have the best of both worlds, we have MILES of fresh water canals/lakes, AND some of the best saltwater fishing around, it is a short trip to boca grand, as well as great fishing around sanibel/captiva/pine island/and matlache.

My problem is NO BOAT  :'( which is why I usually fish freshwater around my neighborhood.

Palm Beach County is known as the "dead zone",

I need to get over to the gulf. Boca grande is nuts, too many boats.

I'm packing up my bass stuff till November.
