SMALLEST FISH EVER CAUGHT!!!

Featured Replies

Well I'm not sure if the title is true but seriously, this is a really really small fish.

i was using a bunch of new equipment i got for an early Christmas present and I casted out my new Rapala dt and i pulled it really hard through a bed of weeds and this is what i got. It's a very small minnow

when i pulled it in my dad, my brother and i looked at each and laughed because it was the only thing anyone had pulled in all day lol

When I read the thread title I was going to respond the exact same thing ;D yes I have on many occasions pulled up small minnows, tiny shad, baby brim, and bass fingerlings on the hooks of cranks and traps.

i hooked a saltwater fish similar to that but a little smaller, and it was on a single hook storm swimbait, must have been a 1 in a million chance

Should have snapped that photo is macro mode..... :)

I caught a remora no bigger than an inch or 2, from the beach of all places on an xrap.

I was going to say I caught a pretty small bass but after looking at your picture, I say you win hands down.   ;)

I was fishing with a guy in Erie and he was throwing a tube and hooked a fish maybe a hair bigger than that fish.

I didnt get a pic though.  We laughed a good bit after that.

I thought I had a record small fish when I hooked a 3 in. largemouth on a rapala.  Sheesh, you win!

Broke in my new Pro Qualifier baitcaster with an enormous 3" creek chad.  But that was even a lunker compared to the original author's catch.

lol nice trailer :P

My smallest bass was landing a 4" crank on top of it on the cast, as i recall the crank was about the same size as the fish :P

i've had that happen numerous occasions, usually when i'm working a jerkbait or burning a crankbait
