Type of Net Question

Featured Replies

The old net my fishing buddy i have is torn big time and has many holes in it, im not sure if im asking this in the right location but was wondering if those newer nets made with the rubber are really good? lures constantly get stuck in the old thread nets, and they have to be cut to get the lures out sometimes, do these last longer if anyone has owned them, heres a link to explain what i mean and any responses would really help and i thank you in advance:

YES THIS IS ASKED IN THE WRONG AREA.  THERE IS A THREAD ABOUT NETS AND RUBBER NETS IN THE TACKLE SECTION.

BUT TO ANSWER YOUR  QUESTION....RUBBER IS GREAT FOR NETTING BASS.

I am a BIG fan of rubber nets.

I work at a fish hatchery and all we use is rubber nets.  I remember on my first day at the job they gave me a nylon net to use.  They told me to scoop out 250 channel cats for an order, I guess I shouldve known by the big smile on there face.  Well of course I did and I think it took me 2 hours to get them out of all that nylon.  It was great when the boss came in, because hes a no-nonsense kind of guy and saw what I doing.  He threw a rubber net beside me and stomped off.  I've used rubber ever sense..........
