Tried dropshotting this year for them but never got bit.  Reverted back to nightcrawlers on a jig to catch them in spring.  What spring tactics catch walleye for you besides crankin?

Jerkbaits are the best thing going for me around here in the spring time up to early summer. 78 LC Pointers and 97LC slender pointers. Casting a Gulp minnow on a jighead on flats and points was really good this spring too.
