So far I have been leaving all of my soft plastic baits in there original packaging, and my tackle bag is getting kind of cluttered. Just wondering how u guys store your plastics?

I also leave them in the original bags so when I run low, I know what to buy.  I bunch all similar baits together and put a rubber binder around them.  All the bundles go into a plain canvas bag.  Before a trip, I usually put the ones I think I'll be using on top of the bag.

I just rotate the bags they came in.  I add the cheap stuff in with the more expensive scented stuff.  Figure the cheap plastic might pick up some of that awful powerworm smell.  I think I tend to own a wee bit less plastic than you're average person here though.

I use ziploc bags, then place 3700 boxes.

Be careful about mixing soft plastics!!! The colors will bleed :'(...

Put one color/brand of soft plastic in a Ziplock bag, then put those bags in a Freezer Ziplock bag, don't forget to label. Or, leave them in the original packaging, then put them in a Freezer Ziplock bag.

if you just put them in like a plano plastic tackle drawer will the plastics "dry out" if they are not scented like gulp or powerbait?

I put 5 or 6 or each bait in the snack sized zip lock bags.  About 5 or 6 of these bags takes up the same amount of room as one of the original bags with 25 baits in them.  After each trip I refill the bags so I don't run out next time.   This saves a lot of room, and is less weight to carry around

X2. I guess you could always cut the label out too and insert it in that BPS worm bag with the worms. But I'd rather limit how much plastic I buy so I'll stick with keeping them in original bags.

i put mine in those little plastic boxes to save space. i haven't had any problems with that but even if they did, it's not like you couldn't just add some berkley bass attractant to it. and besides, everything i use is salted, and this won't have anything to do with salt as salt doesn't dry out.

So it is ok to just leave them in the original bags?  Should I maybe put them inside a zip-lock bag as well?

I keep them in the original bags and then put them inside ziplock bags.  I can pull out one ziplock bag and have all of the same baits together.

I keep them in original packaging then put them all in a 2 (double layerd) plastic grociery store bags

Then just bring what im going to use in a ziplock freezer bag.

Original bags hung on a peg board in the garage. Quick glance tells me what I need to restock on.

Friends tell me it looks like a tackle store, but I still keep them that way.

I use the plano stowaway boxes it has a bunch of compartments and I put the bait in its organil package in the box. So I have four of these boxes I keep my senkos in one and beavers in another and I just throw them in my tackle compartment in my boat and just grab whatever I need when I need it. It works pretty good and everything is nice and organized.
