    based on the cradel he is using- i would bet 100% that the fish was let go.  Nice gear like that is not used to release...plus they are air breathers...

    god that would be a fun fish to catch.

    thats crazy i had a pet fl. gar but he was only 16in wife insisted we had to buy it when we got our 65gal tank set up it was $45
