That's awesome & they didn't even have big bass  ;)

Sounds like a great day our on the lake!

please help me out here-- how is that even possible to have that big of a sack and not have a big fish that is top 9? the 9th biggest fish was 8.12 i am assuming that is around 8 pounds 2 ounces roughly and the winners had a sack of 44.92. someone please help me on this one.

chances are those "smaller" big fish were weighed in earlier, and the winners chose not to have a big fish weighed because they didnt have one that would have beat the current big fish.

thanks josh.

Awesome tournament, 45lbs, thats an average of almost 9lbs per fish. Gotta Love That.

What a sack.  That's unreal.  You have to get down to 35th place before you find a sack of less than 20 lbs.

Tourneys held in Sugar Lake ( right across the border not far from Laredo ) have that kind of sacks, reason why I said that it greatly depended in which place the tourney is taking place when we were discussing in FC 's thread; 20 pound sack in Zimapán will bring you in the top 5, 20 lb sack in Sugar Lake isn 't good for catching a place in the first 30 places.   ;)
