2008 Elites Series is Out!!!!

Some very interesting choices.    2 events in Florida, New York, Texas, and no Clear Lake or the Delta.   I didn't see that happening with the record being set out there this year, but maybe they're just alternating lakes.   I bet they return in 2009 to Cali, or maybe the Classic will be out there some day.

Biggest one of all, Iowa,    Anybody know where Iowa is?     LOL.

I really love the schedule! My dad and I will probably end up going to the Kentucky Lake or Wheeler tournament. One downside though is that they are dropping the three majors >:( I really enjoy the 6 hole course format and the exciting weigh-ins. But overall I think they did a really good job.

I will be at the Kentucky Lake one.  Hopefully as a co=angler ::)  I liked the Majors as well but I can see there point on the events. It would be hard to pay that out three times a year.

I have to say that I am really dissapointed in the schedule :(  I was really hoping they would expand on the western swing.  The Columbia River system deserves an Elite series event.

I know where Iowa is.  This event is on my home stretch of water. Pool 19.  I am stoked about it.  Can't believe the small town of Ft. Madison got this pulled off.  I never figured I would get an elite series event near me let alone on my home water. :)  Randy

LOL....did anyone else notice KVD is from Kalamazoo.....????

Louisiana

Jeff Connella; Bentley

Greg Hackney; Gonzales

James Kennedy; Lacombe

Kevin VanDam; Kalamazoo

I thought he lived in Michigan....hummmmm...I am gonna call Randy tonight and ask if he moved....lol.

Yer better than that Squid!  Kalamazoo is in Michigan.  Everyone knows KVD is from there!  Get some more coffee bro!  Fishing is tiring you out!!
