I've been doing some looking at tackle warehouse and have been seeing a lot of jerk baits (rip baits) in the fire tiger color, and was wondering how this color works for you?

works great for me in muddy water.

Every bait maker has a version of firetiger on their color chart, clear water dirty water and anything in between it's a good choice.

Firetiger has most of the basic attractant colors chartruse, yellow, orange, green and black and dependent on the maker they are painted in spots, stripes and to many other patterns to count. Old colors, like old baits that have been around for years, there is a reason. it works.

I agree with the above post.....firetiger will work in any water condition - murky OR CLEAR.        

I haven't fished it much but I know it works...its one of my friends favorite colors and I have seen him catch a few using it.  I like the way most fire tiger baits look I just like throwing other colors first.

i will not buy a bait that dont have one in firetiger color spring,summer, fall the allways work  ill buy other colors but they have to have a firetigercolor

If the water is chocolate milk colored I will always choose the Firetiger color, otherwise I prefer silver/black, gold/black and any green mixed in with silver.

What does it really matter, Just try it if you do not like it trade with your friends or repaint. Just be willing to try anything, you never know until you try what works for others may not work for you or vice versa.

X3 works well for me.  I've probably caught more fish on the Joe's Flies firetiger inline than any other.

ive had luck with small firetiger crankbaits in clear water as well as muddy. i think its a good baby bluegill imitation.

i dont have that much time to try everthing. to many ,iam going to use what catches fish
