I'm very sorry, but very few members here are cryptanalysts. It would be very helpful if you would decode your comments into plain English.

WHAT KVD 4 4 HOLY SH..... :o :

Holy Cow Batman.... let me retrieve my secret decoder ring   :o

i know Glenn, kids these days mouths hold smell and words that would kill the best of us, believe it!

I guess Glenn, Cigarlove and I are the ony one that keep tabs of the Classic.  He's trying to say that almost all the Pro's will admit KVD is the best, but he only managed 4lbs 4oz the first day on the Red.

Well, he weighed a 19 lb sack on day 2.

Too little, too late :(

/he was on my fantasy team. :'(

Every once in a while our bass pros show us that they are human, just like the rest of us.

And did you guys notice the only guy who got skunked in the Classic?

Check it out and you will be very surprised.

As for KVD, he is a power fisherman and the Red River is more of a finesse body of water.

Watch Ike today.  He and Boyd could move up in the standings as they both are excellent finesse fishermen.

The only thing I would like to see is the winner in an 18 foot Tracker with a 50 horsepower motor.

Now that would turn the bass boating industry upside down.  :D

Timmy Horton was really,  REALLY sick, so he didn't go out.

Thanks for the clarification, Glenn.

Sorry to hear that Tim was ill.

Hope he gets well, soon.

Was it the Louisiana culture that got him or a virus????  :D

I am a big KVD fan, but there is only one God and he is not it.  He is most certainly human just like any of the rest of us.  OK so he is a much better angler than any of us.  That being said, I would not bet against him in the AOY race.

Well..if there Is a God, KVD ain't him/her. Is that a surprise?

Maybe he fooled himself? Sexy shad was just another fad?

Hmmmm...

Bad cup of Ovaltine? No Wheatie's??

More seriously, my guess is he made a bad call, went for broke on something and it didn't pan out. Fishing is bit like gambling -we just don't control how the cards fall (back to the God reference).

One thing's impressive: He adjusted and made up for things afterwards; -His second day bag was right up there with the top bags.

Interesting, to look at other anglers in this way. How well did they adjust through the tournament?

I thought we weren't supposed to talk about religion here....

;D ::):D;)

There is nothing wrong with God, I talked to him this morning and he said he thought Kevin was going to do better than he did. ::)

He's human after all. Everybody has a bad day.

Blasphemy!

Nobody can be on top of every game.  Not even KVD.  But I'm sure his decisions weren't uninformed, wild guesses.  I didn't catch any of the post-game coverage.  Did he talk about what he did differently than the leaders?  Did he fish the backwaters?  Were his tactics a lot different?  If anyone feels comfortable providing a synopsis, I'd love to hear. :)

I'm from there originally and my buddies are very familiar with the river. We were watching the highlight show, and they recognized the area he was in and said that it is very, very shallow. He definitely wasn't fishing his strengths on day one.
