Check out this video of Kevin VanDam of an interview I did recently. Watch this video if you really want to know how involved he is with his signature lines of products, and to find out what it's really like to be pro angler.

Kevin is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. I talked to him at BPS a few weeks ago. He spent about fifteen minutes talking to me about fishing St. Clair. About twenty minutes later he saw me shopping and came over to me and gave me a couple suggestions for this season, and some samples of KVD Line & Lure.

Is there any way to get a transcript?  I am on crappy internet for the next two weeks and would like to at least read the interview.

Very good interview. Thank you for sharing.

He summed it up when he said "the tournaments "drive" the industry".......I hate the bass "industry".  He is a nice enough fellow, but I would like to see a tournament where they are in ratty jon boats with NO electronics and a couple of used fishing rods with only a few lures/plastics to pick from......sort of like my fishing trips. 8-)
