Welcome aboard!

Look through this section for everything you need to consider.

First off, you aren't too young. Either on this thread, or on the Tournament Talk thread you will read about a 13 year old that got a pro staff position.

Check spelling and grammar..

Type all responses on this forum on a Word Document, then spell check it, copy and paste to post it.  It will make you look very good to any sponsors checking out the posts.

13 years old is a great age to start trying to locate sponsors.

Your parents can help as can your English teacher with your resume and other written documents.

And as suggested by Roadwarrior, read ALL OF THE POSTS within this section of the forum to obtain an idea of what has happened in the past and to obtain a lot of wisdom from the guys on this site.

Good luck and I hope to see your photograph in Bass Times when they show the qualifiers for the B.A.S.S. yute championships.  :)

B.A.S.S. yute championships. :)

What?  Did you just say "yute"?  What is a "yute"?

Sorry for the My Cousin Vinny movie reference   ;D

Like I said above, you are in the right place. Also, as Sam said, you are at the perfect age to start building up. I wish that I would have known at 13, what I know now... I may be a little further in the pursuit of my dream as well.
