yo-zuri ultra soft-knots

Featured Replies

ive had no problems with palomar knots on #6 line....

Whatever you like. Ultra Soft does not require

a special knot. On lighter line I use a Palomar

Knot; on heavier line a Sixteen-Twenty Knot.

roadwarrior - i dont like using the palomar on baits any bigger than a jig (only because of difficulty in tieing) and was wondering if that 16-20 knot is ok to use with #6 line on cranks etc. looks like a fast and easy knot.

Yes, it's just fine.

Although it may not "test" as strong as a Palomar Knot, I have never

had any issues. Regardless of the knot, I have never been broken off

by a fish using Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Hybrid Ultra Soft.
