hey, im goin fishing tomorow and am limiting myself to the texas rig to learn how to catch fish with it.  what top two colors do you recomend i start with.

I think this is probably good advice. The two I use most (arbitrary decision) are black and translucent pumpkinseed.

It would help if you listed your location. Different colors work better in different areas, water condition, etc. Not enough info to give you any answers.
