Deps lures?

Featured Replies

This company looks like it has some very good quality lures that may work well. If you could only get one, which type and color? Allright you lure gurus, Raul, T rig, Four bizz, and the rest, lets hear it. Thanks.

The only baits I use from Deps are Baryriski frogs.

I have some Deps Buzzjets. They are big, heavy wakebaits. They have a very wide wobble. They are nicely made, and have the sharpest hooks on the planet. I like them, but my Ima Roumbas have been more productive in the came water under the same conditions. Unless they start catching more fish, I won't buy anymore. At $26 per lure, they ought to produce better than they do.

If you are looking for a nice wakebait, I'd skip the Buzzjet and get some Ima Roumbas, or some Jackalls (Mikey, Mikey Jr. or Dagored).

I don't have experience with any other Deps lures.

I really like the Buzzjet. I dont fish it much since its so small. I only bought it because I had a few friends sticking 5-9's on them like they were going out of style, lol. Very very high quality baits. Highsider and Realiser look interesting.

You must have the Buzzjet Jr.  I wish I had gotten the Jrs instead of he full sized Buzzjets.

Consider the source.   ;)

Deps makes amazing lures.

No, i have the buzzjet. As far as wakebaits go, in my mind, its real small. Still like it though I have caught a decent number of 3-4lbers on it.

I have both the jr and the fullsize, and for me the full size is hands down the better one. Seems to have a different action and noise to it.

I dig the full size Buzzjets and the Radscale.  Haven't used any others.
