Dude! Great looking place you fish. Nice and secluded looking. Great job to you and your buds on those hawgs. That mud turtle is awesome.

Yeah there are some nice fish'n holes around here. If you know the right spots you can catch nice bass all the time.

BTW that snapping turtle weighed 35lbs 4oz on a digital scale. The biggest we've seen in that lake was upwards around 55lbs. We have seen him several times and have attempted his capture more than once. His nickname is The Jaws Of Death, we saw him pull under a full grown duck once.

Great job. That last bass in that last picture looks like it could be a new state record or world record!!!! ;) ;D

Man dude where do you live at? I could use use some good size bass like that! This year for me the bass fishing has been alittle slow. I don't even catch anything near that size. 2 years ago i use to catch'm that size. They just dissapeared on me.

I live in central Jersey. Not the best place for bass'in but if you fish 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, all summer you can hook into some nice ones.

I should have put this in the first post, but i might as well put it here since i'm already posting....

Those are some great fish. That last one almost had me. Good job with photoshop.

Good job Bucket!  You really managed to find them and catch them.  What pound test line did you get that snapper on?  :o

Thats a long story. (and it is probaly longer when i tell it ;D)

We where canoeing down a lake when we saw lines attached to the dock moving back and forth. We paddled over there and the turtle was hooked on 30lb line and had some other twine/line tangled around him. His face was raw from him trying to get the lines off and scraching his face.

We managed to cut the lines and scoop a net under him. He was way to heavy to lift into the canoe so Tim paddled to shore while i held the net along the side of the boat. He was twice the size of our net, and bent it pretty bad. He would have gotten away but i guess he was to tired.

We got him to shore, carfuly removed the hook, weighed and messured him, then released him. He was pretty ticked off, and was snapping a lot.

The video of the release is up with the pictures.

I accualy got 3 hair cuts. My hair grows fast. ;)

Thanks for sharing the pics.

You all did super.  Keep us posted on how you do this coming summer.

And I can't beleive you are messing around with turtles.  Turtles are dangerous, as you must know, so be very careful.

And keep your grades up so you can go to college and get a degree in Ocean Marine Science or Fishing Biology so you can combine your great fishing skills with your career.

Check out the Sea Grant Universities that are scattered around the country.

Now go and straighten up your tackle and get it ready for this spring.

Man, I know someone who had a great season.

Now hike up your jeans and get a haircut.

j/k outstanding dude, keep em coming
