First bass of the season *Picture*

Featured Replies

Me and my good ol fish'n pals took advantage of the warm weather and hit our secret pond today, with exelent results. I caught 2 bass around 2lbs (one was weighed, the other one was probaly 1/2lb lol) and my friends didn't do so terrible themselves. Daniel (bassholebuster14) managed (just barley) to land a 3 and 3.5lber, and caught the first bass of the season out of the whole group.

Here is Dan with his 3.5

We spent 5 hours there and we all caught 7 bass total. Pretty good for a bunch of kids on one of the first warm days. We where slam'n (bass and trees) with senkos, spinnerbaits, and ourselves.

Tight lines and shallow spawns

Its good to hear you had a good day your first time back. Also those seem like some pretty nice fish you got there.

Thanks. We are going back to the same spot today. I'll post the results on this thread tonight. This time I'm bringing the swimbait combo, so I'm hoping for somthing big. :)

Good for you. Congratulations!

Congratulations!  You're pulling them out faster than nature can make them!  ;D
