Well went to a local lake today to press my luck for bass after a somewhat successful steelhead trip.  After getting to the lake and seeing all the shad I am glad I had a spinnerbait on.

After moving from the first spot I hooked this fish in about 2 feet of water.

I am guessing it was close to 19"

Nice fish way to go!!  Nothing like the first good one of the year!!

That's a good one! The bait monkey will be prodding you to increase your spinnerbait arsenal, so beware.
