Sunny, off-n-on windy, low 80s, and partly cloudy day and only two dinks from my boat at the bigger pond this AM. Headed for the walk-around pond at 12 PM.

Fished from the dam for about 1/2 hour, using a big topwater bait, spinnerbait, hard jerk bait, and a T-rigged Robo worm with no bites.  Moved up towards the middle of the pond and got the first bite, a 6 lber on the KVD spinnerbait.  Caught two more keepers right there and a 2/15(no pics), all on the KVD s/b.

At about 2:30PM, I'm on the other side near the deeper end when I feel a 'bump' on the SqadMinnow hard jerkbait.  Got her to the shore and saw she was snag-hooked.  When I reached down to lip her, the bait fell off, she torqued her body, and I lost my grip.  Probably 4-5 lbs?

Went home at 3 PM and please, don't raz me about the shorts.

Nice fish man! I've caught one fish on my life on a spinner bait, and it was under 12 inches. Congrats on the fish!

Another nice fish and that fish has real nice colors IMO.  You keep nailing them on those spinnerbaits, I cannot wait to get out and throw one this weekend.  The 4.5 day weekend should produce some nice fish.  

Hopefully I do not get outfished by my girlfriend like some of the other guys on here!
