The "other" Bass- **VIDEO**(NEW PIC 5-28)

Featured Replies

NATHAN_JAMES and I shot out this morning with Cap'n Bob for a few hours of striper fishing in Narragansett Bay.  This far up in the bay, we only get the cows for a week or so and then we have lots of action with fish like these, 18-30 inchers.  These guys seem skinnier than in years past but they are here to fatten up so give them a few weeks and they'll be adding a few pounds and developing bellies.

Great fun just the same on freshwater gear and what a beautiful holiday morning to be on the Bay.

A special thanks to Cap'n Bob (Michelle's dad)  :);)

Very nice! Alot fish and no other boats around! That's how I like it! :)

Gotta love Narragansett Bay this time a year- I have a boat in Barrington and even though I prefer to freshwater fish, sometimes there isn't anything like the fight of a striper or blue out of the Bay.  8-)

Feldbass, WELCOME ABOARD!!

A fellow Rhode Islander, I am from Barrington too!!  I used to live RIGHT ON Barr. Bch, Fesenden dr.    I moved to EG 4 yrs ago and MISS MY BEACH!!  we are the ones that used to stick the sign in the sand that said DAQUIRI'S and an arrow pointing towards the house. :)  Ring a bell?  We were also the ones that held the 2 band parties and never got shut down ;)  NOW does i ring a bell?? Small world, VERY small town folks.

OK, so Back on topic, we hit it again this morning for a few hours, cookie cutter keepers off Pine Hill again. ;)

Haha too funny LBH. I know what you're talking about with the sign as well, very small world. My boat is at Stanley's (which is across from Striper Marina) and I actually live just north of Providence in Attleboro. I really enjoy this site and actually found it through your videos on youtube ;]

I fished out of Striper Marina for 8 yrs, that's where the name was originally born.  we won the june moon striper tourny 2 yrs in a row from a 16 ft LOWE (budget hookers) Jon boat in the river fishing the hole in front of the wharf tavern at the green can.  Man,...we got under some skin, lol.

Awesome video!  What song is that playing in the backround?  It is def going in my ipod!!!

That's "The Fishin' Hole' "  (Andy Griffith's theme song ;) )

I love living in Rhode Island. If i want some blues or some stripers i walk down my street to the beach, and if I want some bass then i go up to the pond. Either way it is awsome.
