Got an invitation down to a friend's country house this weekend, and that means fishing

I had a good weekend, especially Sunday.

She went 7-11 on my scale, but I think she was more than that.  But then again, I'm a fisherman, so I inflate my measurements anyway

Water temp ~78

Water clarity ~1.5 ft

1/8 oz jighead and Zoom junebug finesse worm

~6 feet of water at the end of a big submerger log, right at a drop-off from 2 feet of water

Strangely enough, the rig, lure, color, weight, etc was identical to when I caught my 8-15 PB earlier this year.  I think I may have to throw this lure more often

And for some reason, it didn't occur to me to get the gut shot.  I attribute that to the excitement... Oh well, lesson learned.

I am suprised you even got a bite with that ugly hat on...... ;D
