Got out on a boat for my first time pretty much ever! Guy I met about a month or so ago at the same Res took me out and showed me a thing or two on the boat..

Best day fishing I've had in a while, if not best period.

Was on the water by 7am (First time I've fished before noon, and first time I've been up that early in years).

25-30 Bass on the day, 8-10+ 2lb-3lb , I had 2 4lbers (well one was 3.15), he hooked a decent 6er BUT snapped his line right on the knot! He forgot to retie from a previous fishing trip on one of his rods. In a 30 minute span we caught about 6 of our 2-3lb bass one after the other.

None the less, It was a great trip! I didn't take photos after the first few as we were having too much fun, but here's a couple.

Haha, eh nothing near the fish you catch, but was fun none the less. Maybe I have to make my way up to the Delta sometime and catch some real lunkers. I've been fishing same same reservoir near me, exclusively because I don't even have a car right now =\

Haha, yah, I'm not a morning person, although once I'm up and active in the morning, I love it.

Goodluck on the delta, you'll have tons of fun! Are you gonna go to Clear Lake too? It's only a few hours away and well worth the trip.

Hopefully, by september I'll have saved up enough to get some type of way to get out on the delta to fish, as of now I'm confined to my two little reservoirs, but it sucks having such nice places like the Delta, Berryessa and Clear Lake so near me.
