Hey Fellas; I caught my first Fat Ika Smallie. I was on the St.Regis River,by Malone NY I had never used an Ika before and had a couple of friends telling me how good they were. I hooked it skirt backwards and 3/0EWG Gammy. I threw it in 17 ft of water off and old bridge Foundation, the cast hit the foundation and fell in the river I THOUHGT I was snagged A 21inch SMALLIE, I was in one of those inflatable dingies and I couldnt get it in too easily, but it had a ruler on the side and I was able to measure it. My digital scale was too unreliable( I trashed it) so no weight but it was the biggest smallie I ever caught.

I caught a few smaller Northern Pike using a Suspending Rattlin Rouge. I found a small pond with a lot of small but anxious bass. I used *** and had a ball with them for 2 days

My girlfreinds, best friend had us at her house right on the river. I had the pleasure f taking her 11 year old grandson out for his first crack at bass fishing. Now a few more days with Elaine and back to work and classes in the next couple of weeks

Nah , he couldn't stay focused  SURPRISE; I did get him on some bluegills and small Catties and he caught a bunch
