Temp was 102 at 5:30, I didn't care.......I NEEDED some time on the lake........

The only other boat we saw was at the ramp across the bay.......looking for a cell phone in the lake.... ;D

It took a while but I finally landed a dink, didn't matter......a dink means no skunk  About 15 minutes I landed another......cool.   Joe hadn't had a bite at that time....I caught a little warmouth next........That's when he looked at me and said.........you should change baits.......

Anyone who knows me, knows how competitive I get on the water........I had started to feel bad after Sunday nites trip. :-? but now........game on............In the next 5 casts, I landed 3 more largemouth........ we fished a while longer without any success........Oh well, another day on the water.......so yes, He tried......but didn't succeed! Poor Joe  Maybe next time!

Glad you are actually able to catch a good amount of bass in the blistering heat unlike me. Looks like you had a pretty good day. Your fish were also bigger than anything I caught today while trying to fish mid day

I can do that too! Maybe one day he'll learn to operate the trolling motor and drive the boat.....It'd be kinda nice to just sit back, relax, and then kick his tail :

hey mom you and i have something in common we know how to turn that back of the boat into an advantage dont we? cant help being me but while your busy with that trolling motor im fishing .

these days ive done alot of bank fishing so when i get in the back of the boat im in the same mind set and im confident simply because being  disabled i dont look at disability as an inability.

everyone ive fished with i tend to out fish them to. its not something i can help doing, any more then that hot mom can  ;D
