Westpalmdude and I went out to battle the wind in hopes of getting some lunkers but these are all we managed to find.  WPD caught 4 and I got 3.  My 3 outweighed his 4 by about 2lbs though .  

WPD got one on a rattle trap and the other 3 on a grub using his ultralite.

I got all 3 of mine on the C-rig.  I tried Zoom trick worm, Zoom lizzard and Senko on the C-rig with no luck.  I finally got them to take a Giggy black snake.  

The wind was hard so we had to deploy the drift anchor but all in all we had a good time.

You guys kill me, you're still in shorts.

Seriously, I ain't been connecting with any thing decent either.

the bite has been slow and except for one exception the bigguns are on strike.

It should be picking up soon though.

The high pressure system has blown out and the prespawn feeding should be starting soon.

Yes guys, well done! 8-) Avid, prespawn in november? That's something I still have to wait for, for another 5 months! :'(

Yeah, I know. Doug's baby is due in March so we're both trying to get in as much as we can now. Thankfully, we live in Florida so we can fish the entire winter. ;D

I miss fishing in South Florida.....  :'(
