Went to lake today even though it was very windy. I saw quite few bass around but only managed to catch one. I also caught a big chub. The bass was caught on a black Gamakatsu Arky 26 3/8oz. jig. The chub on a Evergreen Sledge 7-SP.

Fishing is very difficult at the moment but I'm happy with today's catch.

Big ol' chub!!  Beautiful color on that bass, those clear lakes produce beautiful fish.  I like your pics because you always include some eye candy fishing equipment along with the fish.   8-)

Dang man, thats a monster chub! He probably knocked a few bass out of the way getting to that crank.

No, they are common in that size around here. Here's a even bigger one.

I always love T-Rig's pictures. The bass are really colorful overseas and I think the scenery where he fishes is just beautiful.

Nice fish!  Those chubs make great catfish bait, too-lots of smelly oil in their flesh.
