My brother and I went fishing this morning. We went to a private community in Delray Beach that has a few small lakes in it that we like to fish. It was great morning, breezy and comfortable. The bite was really on and we had a good day. We finished up around 1:00 when the wind started picking up. We boated (shored) over 60 fish, with at least 6 that were more than 4 lbs. We used mostly plastics and spinnerbaits, but my bait of the day was an *** ***.

All in all, not a bad day for bank-beating in January.

I wish I still lived in Delray.  It is 29 degrees here in Northern Virginia.
