Avid, is that a Imakatsu Riprizer jerkbait?

Avid, next time you guys are out there in the middle of a feeding frenzy try rigging up a cluster rig. I read about it in this months issue of Bassin. Pretty much consists of a 3 way swivel and 2 lines run about 3 feet with either a jig or whatever is biting. Good for catching 2 bass at a time.

Really? I wonder why they consider that illegal here but not elsewhere?

I just read the FWC freshwater fishing guidelines and the FL Statutes and don't find anything that make that rig illegal.  It could be considered a trot line maybe, but then it would be illegal only on the weekend in most places.

I'm going to place a bet that those weren't caught on the same line, or even by the same fisherman. I'm thinking one of those little bass belongs to Avid...

I believe the pic was posted because doubles are always cool, no matter the size. Plus, a photo or two makes the report more interesting to read.

Multiple hooks on a single line are considered a trot line, and trot lines have specific rules of marking.
