Featured Replies

I just picked up one of the new Clackin' Raps from Rapala, and I want to know your guys thoughts on it? Have you tried it?  How did it perform?

Yeah it has a very different sound to it too.  It is a more high pitched than other rattles I have heard.

saltwater yaker, the store im talking about is just a local store near me.

I hope the lure design itself is better than the Rattlin' Rapala - - probably my least favorite vibe.  Absolutely worthless for low-speed and drop fishing.

TW has them or should I say had.Seem to be sold out already.

i have one arriving on monday...funny, when i ordered from TW just earlier yesterday morning, they had 9+ in stock.

anyway, a lure similar in concept is the xcalibur one knocker which i have fished with and have had success. it also is 3/4 oz. but, because of the tungsten ball, it is still not as large in profile as the 3/4 oz. rat-L-trap. i don't mind the weight...in fact, i like that it helps me get the lure down quicker so i can start working it sooner.
