Good forage in that body of water.

Nice fish. By the time you catch her next year she may have added another pound.  :)

Sew up the mouth and send it to Dallas.

The fish you catch are always so healthy, but that one is just crazy.  I shook my head 30 time while looking at it.

wow that thing is a football!

That is exactly what I was thinking

:o :o :o

That is remarkable, and shows exactly what is possible when the body of water is at it's optimum.....Kudos to you and the lake managers.

Killing a bass would be like killing my brother. ;)

It's a bad pic which I took with my cell phone. My digital camera has "died" on me! :'( The fish was only out of the water for about 30 seconds.

Kudos to you and the lake managers.

Thank you! Bass are not stocked (considerd an invasive species) but there is a huge amount of shad in the lake for the bass to gorge on. Unfortunately there are less bass every year, too many are taken, but there are still some good size fish around. Many are also caught by professional fisherman with nets. :'(

Switzerland just passed a new law where taking pictures of live fish will be prohibited and C&R of legal size fish will also be prohibited. :o ::) My bass will just be to slimy and fall in the water everytime. ;) Stupid laws! >:(

Yes, very similar. We are only allowed to release bass under 7" , anything above has to be killed by law. Stupid or what!? I will continue to release all of my bass, I don't care if I get fined.

That is one nice fish!  I sure would like to know what the girth measured on that hawg. :o

I think thats the fattest bass I have ever seen!!!

Nice fish!!! ;)
